Westonbirt 10km Race Director David Edelsten has confirmed that no more entries will be accepted, 780 have signed up in total. Tony Curry (tel 01285 650852) and Chris Riches (01666 823364) are responsible for all the marshals so any volunteers should contact them by phone or see them at the club next Tuesday. With so many runners, the club will need as much help as possible. On 8 June, all marshals should report to Tony & Chris at the Great Oak Hall at 6.30pm.

Despite rumours to the contrary, the Fairford 10km on Sunday 7 June, which is part of the club championship, definitely goes ahead. There is an associated family 3km fun run which is generally well supported and, given good weather, there is always a great atmosphere in the main field and marquee afterwards as the race forms part of the annual Fairford Festival.
