Highworth '5', 5 miles road. Always a popular race with CAC members but more so this year as it was part of the Club’s championship series; fifteen Ciren runners took part.  On a day of benign conditions, but on a testing course which has a sting in the tail, there were solid performances all-round. In a very competitive field in-form Bill Leggate finished in eighth place in a very respectable 27.51, Adrian Williams and Robbie Brown also ran solid times and David Wright came 34th to win the V60 award. Another inform runner, Kate Sackett, was first FV55 and also set a CAC record.

Manchester Marathon, 26.2 miles road. Sarah Hancock carried the Club colours up to Manchester and finished the Marathon in 6538th place with a time of 4:30.54. Shadrack Tanui (Kenya) won in 2:21.18 and 9247 runners completed the course. 

parkrun, 5km trail.

Cirencester. There was a low turnout on very wet ground at the RAU but there was a good CAC contingent. Adrian Williams was just twelve seconds behind the winner to take third place whilst Nick Holliday ran with partner Caroline Cotterell who came in first lady. Neil Morrissey ran a PB whilst Williams junior competed at Cirencester for the first time.

Swindon:  CAC race captain James Thomas had an excellent run, a fine win and a  PB and was well supported by two juniors in the top twenty with Tom Prosser also getting a PB.
